As a girl that didn’t go to college. Marianne spent most of her life working as a waitress. She spoke to woman who still had bruising from a previous fight. At first concerned of some abuse the woman stated that she was indeed a boxer. After several weeks of talking to the woman she was convinced to find a gym but the owner didn’t want to train her because of her age. So Mariane show just how relentlessly she would work until the old man accepted her. From then on she became an unstoppable force in the junior welterweight boxing league ending up as champion.
